About DCR

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Davis College Republicans mission is to recruit, inform, train, and empower every existing and potential College Republican at UC Davis. College campuses today are ideological battlegrounds for the future of America due to the liberal dominion over college faculty, curriculum, and administration. This is especially dangerous for the future of America and the Republican Party because partisanship is chosen between the ages of 18 and 24. We work for the future of the Republican Party and its principles of limited government, opportunity, and freedom. Every day, we realize our obligation to preserve the Republican Party by balancing debate on California’s liberal college campuses and fulfilling our mission. We are here to influence the future now.

If you are a student at the University of California, Davis and are a Republican, have Republican or conservative leanings of any kind, or you are just curious about what Republicans believe in, then come check us out at one of our weekly meetings on Wednesdays at 7 PM in Olson Hall Room 118. Olson Hall is located off the southeast corner of the main quad.

Davis College Republicans (DCR) is an organization for any student on campus with an interest in Republican politics. Membership is free and gets you:

- Connections with local and national political campaigns
- Help finding internships
- Time spent with like-minded peers

Whether you want to jump into the political arena or just want to socialize with people who have similar interests, this is the place for you.
